Deccan Alert | Amaravati Struck by Second Fire Accident within Two Weeks, Raising Concerns over Possible Conspiracy

In a span of just two weeks, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati, has faced another fire accident. The latest incident occurred at the Head of the Department (HOD) Tower in Rayanapudi, which is part of the Capital Development Region. Preliminary investigations suggest that the blaze originated from a storage area containing PVC pipes belonging to the Megha Engineering Company. These pipes were intended for development works aimed at providing essential facilities for new buildings in the capital region.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported thus far. However, firefighting vehicles were promptly dispatched to the site, and after several hours of operation, they managed to bring the blaze under control. The HOD Tower is said to have suffered significant damage due to the inferno.

It’s worth noting that a similar fire incident occurred on March 11 at the Seed Access Road of the capital region, where PVC pipes owned by L & T company were destroyed. In response to this incident, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha immediately requested an enquiry to determine whether it was an accident or a deliberate act by miscreants.

The consecutive fire accidents in Amaravati have sparked discussions about the possibility of a conspiracy given that both incidents occurred close to the city, which is a flagship project of the current NDA coalition government. While the exact cause of these fires remains undetermined, the string of unfortunate events has certainly raised concerns among the public and authorities alike.
