The Andhra Pradesh Assembly’s budget session has officially begun with the inaugural speech delivered by Governor Abdul Nazeer on February 10. The commencement of the session marks the start of preparations for the upcoming state budget announcement scheduled for February 14.
Following the Governor’s speech, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will convene to determine the assembly’s working days and the schedule for the budget presentation. These meetings are slated to continue until the first week of March.
During the session’s opening, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), including YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy, were in attendance. The proceedings are ongoing as the state gears up for the budget presentation.
