Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced plans to establish a super specialty hospital in every constituency across the state. In an official release, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for immediate action to construct multi-speciality hospitals in each district.
To attract reputable hospital management companies, Naidu promised concessions and noted that the privilege will also be extended to entities operating on a non-profit basis. The initiative aims to provide better healthcare facilities to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister also addressed the health sector, instructing officials to expand the Sanjeevani project, which digitizes citizens’ health records. Initiated on a pilot basis in Chittoor district, Sanjeevani collects and monitors the health data of residents.
Naidu further stated that the Sanjeevani project will include comprehensive health screening tests for over seven million individuals across the state. Launched with the goal of improving the overall health infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh, this move is expected to bolster the state’s healthcare system significantly.
