In a significant move towards economic self-reliance, the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly passed a resolution, aimed at realizing the Atmanirbhar Viksit Bharat – Swarnandhra Vision by 2047. The resolution was introduced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who urged each Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) to contribute towards this mission and propel Andhra Pradesh into a progressive state by fostering growth across social, economic, and cultural sectors.
N. Chandrababu Naidu highlighted that the ultimate objective of the NDA Government was to establish Andhra Pradesh as a leader in all sectors, aligning with the Viksit Bharat-2047 goals. The State government’s focus, according to the CM, is on the development of local industries, increasing per capita income, and maintaining an annual growth rate of 15%.
Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan endorsed the resolution, stating that Andhra Pradesh has the potential to become a model state for others. He emphasized the importance of implementing the series of sectoral policies introduced over the past 20 months with true spirit and determination.
The Atmanirbhar Viksit Bharat – Swarnandhra Vision resolution is part of a broader initiative by the NDA Government to establish India as a self-reliant nation by 2047, marking the 100th year of India’s independence.
