In a vibrant showcase of Telugu family traditions and the festive spirit of Sankranti, a family from Tenali town in Andhra Pradesh organized an exceptional feast for their newly-wed daughter’s husband. Businessman Vandanapu Muralikrishna and his wife Madhavilata extended a warm welcome to their son-in-law, Maunika’s husband Sridatta, who is originally from Rajamahendravaram in the Godavari region. This marked the couple’s first Sankranti celebration together after their marriage.
The event, rooted in the traditional “Godavari son-in-law pampering,” saw Sridatta being lavishly welcomed and treated to a meal that has since garnered significant attention. The feast boasted an impressive array of 158 different varieties of dishes, each traditionally served on banana leaves, making it one of the most extensive Sankranti meals ever arranged in this context.
