Senior BRS leader and former Minister T. Harish Rao launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy during the Rythu Bharosa celebrations held outside the Telangana Secretariat on Tuesday.
Harish Rao accused Revanth Reddy of using a government event as a political platform to target former CM K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). The incident occurred amidst the festivities of the Rythu Bharosa celebrations, a welfare scheme for farmers implemented by the Telangana government.
In his statement, Harish Rao did not mince words, expressing his disapproval of Revanth Reddy’s actions. He emphasized that such actions were unbecoming of a leader and misused the platform provided for a government event.
This is not the first time that the two leaders have been at odds. Their political rivalry has been a topic of discussion in the Assembly, with both entities maintaining a moderate sentiment and being covered by Indian news outlets such as Tribune India and India Today.

While BRS in its tenure used Government events only for political messaging, they allege Congress is doing the same.
