In the lead-up to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026, held from January 19 to 23 in Davos-Klosters, a delegation led by Minister for Large and Medium Industries MB Patil of the Karnataka government has embarked on an important mission. The focus of this four-day event is to facilitate the conversion of investment intentions into tangible on-ground implementations.
The high-level engagements scheduled for the delegation during their stay in Davos include bilateral meetings, roundtable discussions, and ecosystem interactions with a diverse array of global majors such as Amazon Web Services, Lenovo, Vast Space, Coca-Cola, Philip Morris, and Imperial College.
The participation of these multinational corporations underscores the significance of Karnataka’s presence at WEF 2026, with an emphasis on fostering collaboration, innovation, and economic growth. The delegation will aim to leverage these opportunities to further strengthen the state’s position as a preferred investment destination in India.
