Deccan Alert | SIT Insists on KCR's Interrogation at Nandinagar Residence Amidst Investigation

In a significant development in the ongoing investigation, the SIT has emphasized the need for the founding leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), KCR, to be available for questioning at his residence in Nandinagar, Hyderabad, on Sunday at 3 PM. The notice was delivered at KCR’s residence on Friday evening after the SIT held a special meeting to discuss his response to their initial request.

Initially, the SIT had asked KCR to appear for questioning on Friday to provide necessary information for the ongoing investigation. However, citing age-related concerns and busy schedule due to municipal election nominations, KCR requested the SIT to conduct the interrogation at a different location that is not his official residence. The SIT, after taking legal advice, responded to KCR’s request by rejecting it, insisting on the Nandinagar residence for the questioning.

The SIT explained their decision, stating that they needed to use several electronic devices and sensitive documents in the investigation, which would be difficult to transport to other locations. They also clarified that the choice of venue was made considering KCR’s age and the needs of the investigation.

Meanwhile, BRS working president KTR, along with former ministers Harish Rao and Jagadish Reddy, met KCR at his farmhouse in Erravalli, Markook mandal, Siddipet district.
