
Hyderabad – The personnel of the Vangara police station in Warangal district have received praise from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for their unique approach to policing. In a tweet, Reddy lauded the officers’ efforts in patrolling on bicycles and conducting programs to educate villagers about the importance of education and the negative effects of social evils.
In his tweet, Reddy emphasized that controlling crime involves more than just being tough; understanding and addressing the root causes of crimes is crucial. He described this approach as the essence of “real policing.”
The Chief Minister specifically commended the awareness programs conducted by the Vangara police to educate villagers about cybercrimes, the importance of education, and social evils. Reddy expressed concern about the need to prevent young people in villages from falling into bad habits such as drug use, particularly marijuana.
In his statement, Reddy also highlighted the Vangara police’s efforts as an example for all police officers in the state, extending his congratulations to everyone involved.
