Deccan Alert | Telangana Chief Minister To Discuss 99-Day Action Plan with Department Heads, Followed by Conference with Collectors

In a move to speed up policy execution, Telangana’s Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will convene a meeting on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with the Secretaries of various departments. The gathering comes after a recent reshuffle of IAS officers in key departments and Collector posts.

The discussion will center around the 99-day action plan, which spans from March to June, aimed at accelerating policy implementation across Telangana. Officials have prepared a proposal for the execution of this plan, which the Chief Minister will review and potentially approve department by department.

Following the meeting with Secretaries, a Conference of Collectors will be held from Sunday morning until evening. These conferences mark the first such meetings since the recent IAS officer reshuffling across departments and Collector posts in the state.

The state government is planning to hold a massive public meeting on June 2, marking State Formation Day, to explain its welfare and development initiatives to the people.

A Cabinet Sub-Committee on the proposed “99-Day Programme” met with senior officials at Praja Bhavan on Friday night to discuss the agenda. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and attended by Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, D. Sridhar Babu, and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, who gave several instructions to officials.

Chief Secretary A. Ramakrishna Rao and secretaries of various departments also participated in the meeting. The ministers directed officials to prepare detailed reports outlining the programmes to be implemented over 99 days at the state, district, mandal, and village levels, along with a clear coordination plan across departments.
