The Telangana Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, is set to visit the historic town of Medaram on September 13, 2025. This visit comes ahead of the preparations for the upcoming Medaram Jatara, scheduled for January 28, 2026.
The Congress government, in its readiness for the event, has allocated a significant sum of ₹150 crore for the enhancement and development of Medaram. This move is aimed at improving the infrastructure and facilities to cater to the expected influx of devotees during the Jatara.
During his visit, CM Revanth Reddy will also oversee the finalization of a master plan for the development of the Medaram temple complex. The plan includes the construction of new facilities at the gaddela (a sacred precinct), road expansions, and streamlined access for devotees to ensure a smooth and convenient experience for all.
The 2025-26 Medaram Jatara is a significant event in the Telangana region, attracting thousands of devotees from across India.
