In a bid to enhance the quality of education in schools across Telangana, the Department of School Education has announced an educational exchange program for teachers and officials. The program aims to learn global best practices from Finland, Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan.

A 40-member delegation, comprising 28 teachers and officials, has been identified for the program set to take place between April 20 and 24. A DEOA (Department of Education Administration) virtual orientation regarding visa processing and other instructions will be held on April 25 at 3 pm for all selected participants.

All District Educational Officers and Regional Joint Directors have been instructed to ensure the readiness of Headmasters, School Assistants, and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) for the upcoming exchange program.

In preparation, the Director of School Education has addressed a letter to all District Collectors requesting them to identify three teachers from each district following the prescribed procedure. Proposals were received, and a list of 28 identified persons has been prepared.

The educational exchange program is expected to provide valuable insights into innovative teaching methodologies and school management practices from some of the world’s leading education systems.
