In a significant diplomatic move, the ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation, spearheaded by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, touched down in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday, greeted by members of the Telangana diaspora residing abroad. This visit is part of the state government’s active participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos.
The delegation includes Revenue and Housing, I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and a team of senior officials, with IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries and Commerce Minister D. Sridhar Babu already present in Davos.
During the inaugural day of WEF, the Chief Minister-led team is slated to engage in meetings with prominent industrialists and host top executives and representatives of global companies spanning various sectors. A unique, exclusive event will be held to showcase the Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap. The objective is to attract investments and forge strategic partnerships that align with the state’s long-term vision.
While in Davos, officials from Telangana are expected to discuss key economic policies and collaborative opportunities with leading global figures, aiming to strengthen the state’s position on the international stage. The visit serves as a testament to the proactive approach of the Telangana government in fostering economic growth and development.
