Hyderabad, December 16 – In a significant development concerning the Telangana Housing Board, Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced on Monday that the government is considering selling small parcels of land, less than 100 square yards, adjacent to previously allotted housing plots.
The decision was finalized during a review meeting with Housing Board officials held at the Secretariat. The meeting aimed to discuss and address issues related to Housing Board lands, including lease renewals, agreements, and other related matters.
Minister Ponguleti also addressed concerns regarding housing plot registrations, directing officials to provide residents with another opportunity to complete registrations they may have missed in the past. The move is expected to ease the burden on those who have been unable to register their plots due to various reasons.
Further details about the sale of adjacent land parcels and the process for registration extensions were not provided during the meeting. However, it is anticipated that more information will be shared in the coming days as the relevant authorities continue to work on these matters.
