Andhra Pradesh’s former chief minister, YS Jagan, is expected to arrive in Guntur on Wednesday to meet with the family of former Minister Ambati Rambabu, who has found himself in legal trouble for using derogatory language against current chief minister Chandrababu.
Rambabu’s residence was vandalized in recent attacks by disgruntled TDP cadres, and Jagan intends to inspect the property during his visit. He will also comfort Rambabu’s family members, who are facing difficult times as a result of his incarceration.
On Friday, Jagan is scheduled to visit former Minister Jogi Ramesh in Ibrahimpatnam. This marks the second meeting between the two leaders within the last week, coinciding with ongoing speculation that Ramesh may once again be arrested. The first meeting took place during a heated exchange where Ramesh publicly insulted Lokesh using vulgar language.
The upcoming visits by Jagan to these two individuals, who have made headlines for their verbal altercations with political opponents, raise questions about the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh. The visits also come at a critical juncture for both Rambabu and Ramesh, as they navigate legal issues and potential future arrests.
