In a move three days after expanding his cabinet, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy assigned portfolios to the three newly inducted Ministers on Wednesday, June 11.

G Vivek Venkatswamy will now oversee the departments of Labour, Employment, Training, Factories and Mines, and Geology. The Minister has also been tasked with the portfolio of Mines and Geology.

Adluri Laxman Kumar has been assigned the responsibility for the Scheduled Castes Development Department, Tribal Welfare Department, Minorities Welfare, Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens, and Transgender Persons.

Vakiti Srihari will look after Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, Fisheries, Sports, and Youth Services. All these departments were previously under the purview of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

The cabinet reshuffle in the state comes after a series of recent changes in the political landscape, aiming to strengthen and restructure various departments for efficient governance. The move by Chief Minister Reddy and the Congress High Command has been met with a mix of reactions from political observers, but there is a general consensus that the appointments will serve to further test these new leaders in their respective roles.
