Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy called for expediting the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with companies that have been allotted land. He emphasized the need for these companies to start operations at the earliest.
During a review meeting, officials briefed the chief minister about the current status of the companies’ operations, permissions, and the pending clearances due to technical or other issues. The authorities shared details on the allocation of lands to investing agencies in various locations, including ‘Future City’, along with the prevailing market prices of these lands and the management’s readiness to purchase them.
The chief minister asked officials to allocate lands to firms in the ‘CURE, PURE AND RARE’ zones in accordance with government policy. He stressed that investment approvals should be granted swiftly, and special attention should be paid to ensuring that companies commence their operations promptly.
Attended by Telangana IT Minister Sridhar Babu, Reddy emphasized the completion of pending land acquisition processes related to companies that have signed MoUs at a fast pace. The officials were also tasked with gathering details about the facilities required by the companies, their future needs, and proceeding in an organized manner.
The chief minister also proposed appropriate plans to address water requirements at data centers and categorized companies signing agreements with the government into three distinct groups. Top priority will be given to multinational corporations and established market reputation companies ensuring prompt commencement of operations. The officials were instructed to remain updated on inter-state competition in attracting investments and stay informed about relevant developments.
