The Telangana High Court, provided clarification regarding the scope of a previous order that had restricted any increase in ticket prices for certain big-budget films, including Pushpa 2, Game Changer, OG, and Akhanda 2. In a ruling presided over by Justices Moushumi Bhattacharya and Gadi Praveen Kumar, the court outlined that the aforementioned order did not extend to The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, or Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (featuring Chiranjeevi).
In its decision, the high court left the matter of ticket price enhancement for The Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu in the hands of the state government, allowing them to determine pricing at their discretion. The ruling comes as a relief for the makers of both films as they can now proceed with ticket sales without being constrained by the previous order’s restrictions on price hikes.
