In Visakhapatnam, the deputy speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Raghurama Krishnam Raju, has announced that the next session of the Assembly is likely to be held in February. Speaking to media after a private event, Raju encouraged YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and party MLAs to participate in the upcoming session.
Raju also addressed the ongoing issue regarding legislators drawing salaries despite absenteeism from the House. He stated that the Assembly Ethics Committee is currently examining this matter, with possible consequences for non-attending members, potentially including disqualification.
