Vijayawada – In a bid to boost economic growth in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met with the Indian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar, to discuss potential investments from Swiss companies. Upon his arrival in Zurich, Naidu was warmly received by Ambassador Kumar, along with ministers Nara Lokesh and TG Bharat.
During the meeting, Naidu emphasized the state’s readiness to attract foreign investments and briefed the ambassador on the upcoming Visakhapatnam Investors’ Summit. Mridul Kumar acknowledged the commitments worth nearly `2 lakh crore that were secured during Naidu’s visit to Davos last year.
The Chief Minister noted that Andhra Pradesh, with its natural tourism potential, stands at the forefront of contributing to global progress. He also highlighted that India’s youth power could address global human resource shortages. The meeting concluded with a positive outlook towards strengthening ties between Switzerland and Andhra Pradesh in terms of investments and collaboration.
