Deccan Alert | Nurse Accused of Killing Parents with Sedative Injections in Yacharam Village

In a shocking turn of events, a nurse from Yacharam village in Bantwaram mandal, Vikarabad district, has been arrested for allegedly murdering her parents. The accused, Nakkala Surekha, is said to have administered sedative injections to her mother Lakshmi (54) and father Dasarath (58), using her professional training as a nurse at a private hospital in Sangareddy to carry out the crime.

According to police reports, Surekha is accused of injecting her parents with an excessive dose of Artacil, a sedative drug, leading to their deaths. It is alleged that she planned the killings, believing her nursing skills would help her evade suspicion. On the night of January 24, under the pretext of treating body pain, she reportedly injected her parents with the sedative.

Following the incident, both parents lost consciousness. Surekha subsequently informed her brother, who rushed them to a nearby hospital, where they were declared dead on arrival by doctors. During the inspection of the house, police found used syringes and other medical material, which raised suspicion. Further investigation revealed Surekha’s role in the deaths, leading to her arrest and remand to judicial custody on Wednesday.

As the case progresses, more details are expected to emerge regarding the motive behind this tragic incident. The village of Yacharam remains in shock over the allegations against Surekha, a local nurse who is now facing serious charges for the alleged murder of her parents.
