Hyderabad, March 3 (News Desk) – A meeting chaired by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao took place today at the Telangana Secretariat, focusing on crucial matters including preparations for the upcoming Census-2027 and the implementation of the Government’s 99-day action plan, Praja Palana – Pragatiki Pranalika.

The meeting began with an extensive discussion on the importance and evolution of the Census. With the enumeration set to commence in Telangana from May 10, the arrangement was one of the main topics under review.

In addition, the 99-day action plan, scheduled to be implemented from March 6 to June 2 at the village level, was also on the agenda. The primary objective of this initiative is to speed up the execution of policy decisions.

The 99-day action plan was previously discussed during a meeting between Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Department Secretaries held on February 28. The progress under this plan will be regularly monitored, as per directions issued by the Chief Minister.

Notably, the Chief Minister also instructed the formation of a single-member committee, headed by senior IAS officer Jayesh Ranjan, to oversee comprehensive digital governance reforms.

The upcoming Census and the 99-day action plan are significant steps in the ongoing development journey of Telangana. The successful implementation of these initiatives will undoubtedly influence the State’s growth trajectory moving forward.
