In the realm of Telugu cinema, the annual Telangana Gaddar Awards for 2025 have been unveiled by Dil Raju, the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation. This prestigious ceremony recognizes outstanding performances and achievements in the film industry over the past year.
The highlight of this year’s awards was Naga Chaitanya securing the Best Actor accolade for his compelling portrayal in Thandel. Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, received the Best Actress award for her performance in The Girlfriend.
In the competitive category of Best Film, Raju Weds Rambai emerged as the winner, with Dandora and The Pre Wedding Show securing second and third places, respectively. Sailu, the director of Raju Weds Rambai, took home the Best Director award.
The Best Supporting Actor title went to Shivaji, while Bhumika clinched the Best Supporting Actress award. Mark K Robin was honored as the Best Music Director for his work in Dandora, and Anurag was named the Best Male Playback Singer for Raju Weds Rambai. The Best Female Playback Singer title was awarded to Sahithi Chaganti for her work on Kannappa.
The category of Special Jury Film saw 23 take the top spot, while Chaitu Jonnalagadda from Raju Weds Rambai and Ananthika from 8 Vasanthalu were recognized as the Best Male Actor (Jury) and Best Actress (Jury), respectively. The Special Jury Hero award was bestowed upon Roshan for his role in Champion.
Megastar Chiranjeevi was also honored with the NTR National Award, adding another feather to his illustrious career cap.
This year’s Telangana Gaddar Awards ceremony promises to be a grand celebration of cinematic excellence in Telangana and beyond.
