Hyderabad, Telangana – The much-anticipated Allu Cinemas multiplex is set for its grand launch on March 12 with the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, scheduled to inaugurate the theatre in Kokapet. Backed by the prominent Allu family, the premium cinema destination aims to become one of India’s most technologically advanced theatres.
The launch event is expected to be a star-studded affair, with several members of the Allu family, including Allu Arjun, attending along with other celebrities from the Telugu film industry. The opening marks an expansion of the family’s presence in the exhibition sector, as they strive to enhance the theatrical viewing experience through a modern multiplex design.
Allu Cinemas has garnered considerable attention due to its impressive facilities. The multiplex boasts one of India’s most sophisticated cinema setups and features the country’s third Dolby Cinema screen, offering enhanced sound, picture clarity, and immersive viewing technology for patrons.
Following the formal inauguration on March 12, the theatre management will conduct technical test screenings to ensure the projection and sound systems function flawlessly. During this phase, selected films, including Brad Pitt’s upcoming racing drama F1, will be screened. These test runs are expected to continue until March 18.
Once the testing phase is complete, the multiplex will begin regular public operations, with premieres of upcoming films slated for its commercial launch. According to reports, the first set of films planned for screening includes major releases such as Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
The inauguration has also attracted attention due to its symbolic representation of the close ties between the Telugu film industry and the Telangana government. With the Chief Minister personally attending the event, industry observers view the launch as a positive sign of ongoing collaboration.
