Minister for Human Resource Development (HRD) and Information Technology, Nara Lokesh, met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi on Monday. The meeting took place at Pradhan’s residence, where Lokesh discussed the ongoing initiatives by the coalition government of Andhra Pradesh aimed at improving education standards across all levels.

Lokesh briefed Pradhan about a new initiative, the Guaranteed Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) program, which targets ensuring primary school students acquire essential reading and numeracy skills. The program is expected to significantly impact the educational landscape of the state.

In an effort to boost student engagement and learning outcomes, the state government has also introduced a clicker-based Interactive Classroom Response System in government schools. This system aims to foster a more interactive and participatory learning environment for students.

The initiatives underscore the commitment of both the state and central governments towards enhancing education quality and promoting progressive learning methods in India.
