In the political landscape of Telangana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been dismissed as a viable alternative by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). This assertion was made during a preparatory meeting for upcoming municipal elections held in Jubilee Hills.

The meeting, attended by key leaders from Adilabad and Medak districts, focused on strategic planning for the elections with a specific emphasis given to these two regions. K.T. Rama Rao, working president of BRS, underlined that the political battle in Telangana remains a direct contest between his party and the Congress.

Rama Rao further urged the BRS party cadre to highlight the Congress party’s broken promises and local administrative failures as key campaign points during elections. The strategic plan is expected to help gain an edge over the opposition parties, particularly in areas where the Congress has traditionally held a stronghold.

As the municipal elections approach, both the BRS and the Congress are gearing up for a fierce competition in districts like Adilabad and Medak. The outcome of these elections could significantly influence the political trajectory of Telangana in the coming years.
