
Hyderabad, July 04, 2025 – Telangana’s Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, made a call to industrialists and businesspersons to invest in the state, stating “Telangana means business, Telangana means profits” at the inauguration of the Malabar Gold and Diamonds Integrated Manufacturing Unit in Tukkuguda, Maheshwaram constituency on Thursday.
The Chief Minister noted that Telugu people are among the highest purchasers of gold, making Telangana an attractive location for the gold industry. This statement was made as Malabar Gold had chosen to set up its manufacturing unit in the state, a move which is expected to create employment opportunities for local residents.
The Malabar Gold and Diamonds Integrated Manufacturing Unit is part of the Bharat Future City, being developed in Telangana with an aim to be among the most modern urban centers worldwide, expanding beyond IT and pharma sectors into the gold industry. This strategic move is set to establish Hyderabad as a key player in the global gold market.
As part of the city’s development, the Bharat Future City aims to attract more investments and create a conducive business environment for industrial growth. The city’s expansion into the gold industry with Malabar Gold’s presence is expected to generate significant economic activity in the region.
