In the upcoming three days, a cold wave is predicted to impact the state of Telangana, according to the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre. The centre issued a warning suggesting that this cold spell could potentially persist beyond the forecasted period.

The current drop in night temperatures across Telangana, particularly in North and West Telangana, has been attributed to strengthening northeasterly winds. In specific areas such as Adilabad, Medak, Patancheru, Rajendranagar, and Hanamkonda, minimum temperatures have seen a significant decrease. On Tuesday, Adilabad recorded the coldest temperature at 7.7°C, marking a substantial dip compared to normal conditions.

Central Telangana, which includes Hyderabad, may also experience a drop in temperatures of around 3°C to 4°C below normal during this period. The upcoming cold wave is expected to affect the entire region, potentially impacting daily life and routine activities for residents of the state.

Residents are advised to keep themselves warm and take necessary precautions against the cold conditions. Regular updates will be provided by the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre as the situation develops.
