Congress in Tamilnadu Dismisses TVK Alliance Rumours, Reaffirms Tie-Up Only with DMK
Amid speculation about possible talks with actor Vijay’s TVK, the Congress has categorically clarified that it remains firmly aligned with the DMK in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu Congress in-charge Girish Chodankar said that the party’s alliance discussions are exclusively with the DMK and that rumours about negotiations with TVK are unfounded.
Chodankar stated that the Congress high command has already constituted a committee for seat-sharing talks, and that discussions have progressed, including a meeting with Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
Dismissing the reports of outreach to TVK, he said such claims are mere speculation and have no basis in reality.
The clarification comes at a time when alliance dynamics in Tamil Nadu are under close watch ahead of the upcoming elections, with the Congress seeking to project continuity and stability within the DMK-led front.
