Sudhakar has suggested that an announcement regarding granting menstrual leave for college students may be forthcoming, provided directions are issued by the state’s chief minister, Siddaramaiah. The proposal, if implemented, would extend beyond undergraduate students and apply to postgraduate students as well. This development comes after the Karnataka government already announced one-day menstrual leave for working women earlier.
