In a chilling resemblance to the recent honeymoon murder mystery that unfolded in Meghalaya, the Kurnool police have arrested Aishwarya, 23, and her lover Srinivas Rao, suspecting them of murdering her husband Tejeswar.
According to the investigating officers, Aishwarya, who hails from Kurnool, married Tejeswar, a 26-year-old land surveyor and dancer from Gadwal, Telangana, on May 18 under the pretext of her affection for him. However, just a month later, the husband mysteriously went missing.
The police investigation led them to the discovery that Tejeswar was not missing but had been murdered by his wife and Rao. Aishwarya’s mother, Sujatha, was also implicated in the conspiracy and has been detained by the authorities along with her daughter.
The police are investigating the role of a Non-Banking Financial Corporation employee, Raja Raghuvanshi, who is suspected of having had an affair with Aishwarya previously. Raghuvanshi is believed to have facilitated the conspiracy by providing financial assistance or other means.
