Hyderabad: In a recent development, former finance minister and BRS leader T Harish Rao criticized the Congress government for failing to keep its promise of opening the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospital at Sanathnagar within a month. The criticism was made during a press conference.

According to Harish Rao, more than a month has passed since chief minister A Revanth Reddy made the commitment during the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign, but there is still “no sign of progress.” He further alleged that the Revanth Reddy government seems more interested in selling government lands instead of providing quality healthcare to the public, specifically citing the delayed opening of the TIMS hospital at Sanathnagar.

The Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) is a medical institute under construction but has not been opened as promised by the Congress government, according to Harish Rao’s statement.
