In Hyderabad, the construction of the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) at Alwal is progressing steadily and is anticipated to be completed by March 2026. The update was shared following a field inspection conducted by Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj on Monday, under the instructions of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
The state government has identified TIMS hospitals as a priority project, with the Alwal facility being developed over an area of 12,14,060 sq ft at an estimated cost of Rs 1,196 crore. The officials have been directed to accelerate construction efforts in order to meet the set timeline for completion.
The Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences, a significant project aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the state, is expected to contribute significantly to the medical sector upon its completion.
