Hyderabad, January 7 – The Telangana Rifle Association (TRA) celebrated a successful run at the prestigious National Shooting Championship Competitions (NSCC) 2025, organized by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). The event, which drew over 30,000 participants from across India, featured competitions in Sub-Youth, Youth, Senior, Masters, Senior Masters, and Super Masters categories for both men and women.
In a testament to their skill and dedication, Telangana shooters bagged a total of eight medals at the championship. The team’s impressive performance included four gold, one silver, and three bronze medals. Shotgun events accounted for three gold medals, while rifle disciplines contributed one gold, one silver, and three bronzes to the tally.
One of the standout performers was Rohit Kaviti 616.1, who won a gold medal in the Rifle event. Rayan Faisal also made headlines with his silver medal win in the same category. The team’s success at the NSCC 2025 underscores the strong and diverse talent pool of Telangana shooters.
The National Shooting Championship Competitions, held annually, serve as a platform for emerging talents to showcase their skills and build their competitive spirit.
