Six Telangana IPS Officers Promoted to Deputy Inspector General Rank

Hyderabad – The Chief Secretary of Telangana, K Ramakrishna Rao, has issued an order promoting six Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of the Telangana cadre to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG). The newly promoted officials are N Swetha, R Bhaskaran, G Chandana Deepthi, Kalmeshwar Shingenavar, Rohini Priyadarshini, and S.M.

The promotion of these officers comes amidst their central deputation, indicating that they had been serving in roles outside the Telangana state prior to this announcement.

The six officials will now hold specific postings within their respective departments in Telangana. Notably, N Swetha has been retained as Deputy Commissioner of Police, DD, Hyderabad, while S.M. Vijay Kumar takes on the role of Commissioner of Police, Siddipet.
