This directive was issued during a review meeting with officials from the Municipal Administration Department.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of a planned and systematic approach in developing the CURE, which falls within the Outer Ring Road as part of a long-term strategy. The CURE has been reorganized into 12 zones, 60 circles, and 300 wards to streamline governance and ensure effective management.

The Chief Minister’s emphasis on daily field engagement is aimed at addressing civic issues promptly and ensuring the smooth functioning of infrastructure projects in the CURE. The directive comes amidst ongoing efforts to develop the region in a manner that supports economic growth while maintaining a high standard of living for its residents.

In addition, the Chief Minister highlighted the need for effective pollution-control measures within the CURE. This emphasis underscores the government’s commitment to environmental sustainability and maintaining a clean, healthy urban environment for all citizens.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments, including the Water Works Department, who provided updates on ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at improving the infrastructure and services within the CURE.

The Zonal Commissioners were also encouraged to utilize communication platforms such as WhatsApp to stay connected with residents and address their concerns promptly.
