In a remarkable display of quick thinking and medical expertise, former Karnataka MLA and medical doctor Anjali Nimbalkar recently saved the life of an American woman during a mid-flight emergency.
The incident occurred on a Goa-New Delhi flight, where Dr Nimbalkar was traveling to attend a political rally organized by Congress at Ramleela Maidan in New Delhi.
According to reports, the American passenger was initially experiencing uneasiness and shivering before fainting and losing her pulse during the flight. In response, Dr Nimbalker swiftly administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), successfully reviving the woman.
Dr Nimbalkar serves as AICC secretary co-incharge of Goa, Daman & Diu, and Dadra Nagar Haveli. Her timely intervention has been hailed as a testament to her commitment to public service, both in her political and medical capacities.
